.....Jack: I am writing you this letter to express my gratitude for being the person who finally was able to get my Galaxy 95T working to its capabilities. I initially paid $500 including shipping for my RadioActive Super WhackPacked NIGHTMARE! It never sounded loud and proud as RadioActive Radios claimed and they gave me every possible excuse for the problem, never accepting responsibility for the fact that it never operated correctly from the time I received it. I took it to F.G. Best, with whom I have done most of my business up to this point. I have purchased 3 radios from F.G. Best in the past with no complaints. I was hoping that F.G. Best would be able to help me resolve the issue with the 95T. However, after I received it back from F.G. Best, the 95T was still sounding distorted to the point that my co-workers complained constantly that it sounded like crap. I still have no complaint with F.G. Best, however they were unable to resolve the issue with the 95T. I was fed up and called Galaxy in Escondido, CA and talked to a guy named Ray who brought to my attention the fact that anything WhackPacked by RadioActive Radios is not warranted by Galaxy and that RadioActive is aware of this, but they don't tell you that when you buy it. Ray at Galaxy recommended that I send the radio to CircuitMaster in Nebraska (Lucky Technician). I got the radio back, still distorted and unusable. I gave up on this radio and put it on a shelf in my closet for about a year. I had $730 invested in this radio and never was able to use it once. I finally came across the 292 Radio Shop/FireCommunications web site and gave Jack a call. Jack spent more than an hour on the phone explaining different things to me. He convinced me to give him a shot at the 95T. I sent it to him and received it back exactly 2 weeks later. When I hooked it up and called out for a radio check, I got one about 5 miles away and he said it was LOUD AND CLEAR and that it was louder and clearer than the guy he was talking to less than a block away from him. Needless to say, Jack, this made me the happiest man with finally the loudest, proudest and clearest 95T. You have gained a customer for life and in addition to getting my business, I will highly recommend you to my friends, co-workers and business associates. Thank you so much. Kevin Barreiro Imperial Beach, CA .....Jack, I just wanted to take the time to let you know about a recent experience that i had. About 3 years ago i sent a Galaxy 99 to have you peak and tune. i am from colorado and i saw your website by chance, so i decided to call and talk to you to get a basic idea on what you could do to improve my Galaxys performance. when i heard the price my first thought was "that's a little steep". but after talking to you for over half an hour i came to the conclusion that you definitely knew your stuff. in colorado most of the radio shops tune the radios out of a manual and do the basic "this part isn't necessary so let's just remove it". the fastest way to an overmodulated crappy sounding dirty signal throwing piece of junk is to take out the limiters and overdrive the unit. i received my Galaxy back from you and to my surprise it outperformed my expectations. i received compliment after compliment on how loud, clean and strong it sounded. i received signals also from distant stations, as if they were next door to me. i decided about 6 months ago i wanted to upgrade my radio so i bought a Ranger 2970 DX. i sold my Galaxy 99 to a friend who wanted it because he knew how great it worked. i sold it to him for $400.00. he knew how much he could get a brand new one for but he never could find a radio shop that could come close to making a radio scream like that 99 that you worked on. he didn't want to waste the time of buying a radio and sending it to get fixed up by you, he wanted it NOW. that radio was 2 years and 6 months old when i sold it, and i definitely got my moneys worth out of it when i used it and again when i sold it. we set up and installed that Galaxy 99 which was now his and i was receiving him at signal strength of 3 at a distance of 35 miles. he was mobile and barefoot. this was also in Denver during a weekday and there is definitely a lot of noise on the airwaves. that proved to me once and for all, that you are the master of your craft, and i won't let anyone else work on my radios. when someone asks me where i got my radio tuned, i always tell him or her "you don't know Jack". i cannot wait to see what you can do to my Ranger. Sincerely, David Washburn Hey Jack, I just wanted to drop you a line to say thanks. The Galaxy 959 you sold me screams, and the service and support was outstanding! You helped me throughout the entire process. You were polite, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Even though I only spent a small amount of money with you, you treated me like I had spent $5000 dollars, and that made me feel extremely special. And with my new CB setup I have made contacts across the country. In fact one contact I made in Chicago told me I sounded like I was in his driveway. Wow! I now have a CB system that is the envy of all my friends. I hope you enjoyed this letter as much as I have writing it, and I just want to let you know how much I appreciate your exemplary display of product knowledge and your willingness to assist. Thank you! Shawn S. Raleigh, NC Jack, Thanks for your work, both radios sound AWESOME! (C29HP40W and the CX4300HP) thanks, David Morgan Hi Jack ...
