The Finance manager gave me the go ahead just have to get as much as i can from the for sale radio to offset the cost as much as possible. When she says OK, you don't wait long LOL. Plus going to have to figure out what mic to get with it, have to see if i can squeeze it into the overall cost. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Top of Page <#top> lil devil is offline View Skip Shooter's profile Send private message Yahoo Messenger *Thisdude08* Donor Donor Age: 38 Joined: 15 Jan 2007 *CBRT #: 1669* Posts: 290 Reputation: 18.2Reputation: 18.2 Your Name: Jim Radio Equipment: RadioActive RCI 2980 Cobra 200 GTL DX/Wilson 5 Echomax 2000 SuperStar 158 Please help us to develop! There was a thread on QRZ a while back where a couple of old geezers were complaining about how bad the "chicken band" had become, and that there were "illegal" retailers out there. They then went on a tirade, bashing your site and a couple others, including ALA, which I thought was bogus. I wouldn't worry about it, though. As long as you keep cool and treat your customers like gold, you will do just fine. I plan on buying an Imax 2000 from you in the next few days too, so I'll be able to verify the service! (more or less) I consistently read great things about your shop. I ask many questions here and the folks are great answering them. I have from the help here narrowed it down to 3 or 4 radios. I can say this though, I am very impressed with your customer service and "old school" if you will way of doing business. I will be calling you to get my setup together. gain, outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!!! >GreenGhost ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Top of Page <#top> GreenGhost is offline View Skip Shooter's profile Send private message *bullet* Donor Donor Age: 47 Joined: 29 May 2007 *CBRT #: 2358* Posts: 994 Location: Ville Platte, LA Reputation: 32.3Reputation: 32.3Reputation: 32.3 Your Name: Ronny Mailing Address: Ville Platte, Please help us to develop! The other shops are mad that they don't know what you do to the radios. Like you said I don't care what you do. It is good quality work and you have the best sounding radios I know of. So just chill. I don't think you need to worry because the comparision is already worrying that you will take all there clients. You are doing it right and they are not. Someone that is trying to cheat folks will always feel bad and try to discredit the good doers due to the fact that they are incompetent. We Love you here. Why would anyone go to another forum. When I first got back into CB. I checked out a few other forum and there is no comparison. I never left this forum or looked at others. Now all you did is make me what to go see what is going on.'LOL'This is the only intellect and good people forum out there. Keep on doing what you are doing and the truth will prevail every time. _________________ <./link.php?url=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5wdXRmaWxlLmNvbS9waWMvNzY2NTY0OQ%3D%3D> ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Top of Page <#top> bullet is offline View Skip Shooter's profile Send private message *G-Golly Wally* Duckplucker Duckplucker Age: 41 Joined: 18 Dec 2007 *CBRT #: 3249* Posts: 137 Location: Cameron OKLA Reputation: 14.5 votes : 1 Your Name: Mike Radio Equipment: RCI 2950, 23 ch JCPenny pinto, Cobra 29 Please help us to develop! Post Posted: Monday, 04 February 2008, 4:42 AM Post subject: Reply with quote ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Well from what i can see there are others who get complaints for whatever type of service they provide in this field also. There is a young man that I know who purchased a product and for what ever resason was given the coldshoulder by the provider of the service after the initial sale.I know there are isolated issues with anyone that can surface in a most inoppourtune time.We all at times feel that our buisness is worthy timely pacification when we become alarmed but if we remain calm it will all work itself out .The old days where you could jump up and holler at people are gone most companies either have an outsourced customer service department or an automated machine which I absolutely detest but when Ido get to a person I'm usually calmed down enough to get what I want. I wish American buisness would listen to the consumer more and become more personable ...I hate robots that talk. _________________ MAY THE LIFE I LIVE SPEAK FOR ME! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Top of Page <#top> rev ike is offline View Skip Shooter's profile Send private message *bullet* Donor Donor Age: 47 Joined: 29 May 2007 *CBRT #: 2358* Posts: 994 Location: Ville Platte, LA Reputation: 32.3Reputation: 32.3Reputation: 32.3 Your Name: Ronny Mailing Address: Ville Platte, Please help us to develop! I have the SWP General Lee also. Will say this the SS-158 is a great radio, but if you will not use SSB go with the GL. It seems to be a better built radio. I would have never though another radio could have the modulation that he GL has, but the SS-158 does after mike gives it his SWP treatment they do. _________________ <./link.php?url=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5wdXRmaWxlLmNvbS9waWMvNzY2NTY0OQ%3D%3D> ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Top of Page <#top> bullet is offline View Skip Shooter's profile Send private message Display posts from previous: Post new topic Reply to topic printer-friendly view The CB Radio Talk Forum Index -> RADIO ACTIVE RADIOS All times are (GMT -7:00) Mountain Time (US & Canada) Goto page Previous 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , *7* Page *7* of *7* Jump to: You *cannot* post new topics in this forum You *cannot* reply to topics in this forum You *cannot* edit your posts in this forum You *cannot* delete your posts in this forum You *cannot* vote in polls in this forum You *can* attach files in this forum You *can* download files in this forum This site is best viewed with FireFox .
