As you all may know RadioActive Radios has been being attacked by some other radio shops, and "techs" on other forums. As I post answers to their threads they are being erased, and/or my answers are bring altered. So I wanted to have a chance to speak my peice on this forum..........a professional forum, that doesn't allow slander! My customers are being banned from other forums, and/or they are being threatened by the site admins/ moderators. This is bogus. The persons that are making up the lies, and slander are "NOT" customers these are so called "techs", and other "shop owners". They are questioning my technical work, and calling me all kind of childish names. Heres the scoop. First, its a policy I have, not to allow anyone that works here to comment about anyother shop in a negitive way.....ever. We can speak positive things about other shops when they need to be said. But we will not comment poorly about any shop, ever. We here at RadioActive pride ourself in doing top technical work. We warranty our work for life! We are NOT the least bit concerned with how other shops do their technical work ever. Why? We are to busy working on radios everyday to be concered with what another shop is doing on the other side of the usa. Lets face it, the other shops are down grading me for a few reasons. RadioActive Radios is on top of the radio game. We expose poor quality technical work everyday, not by slamming other shops but simply by having awesome sounding equipment out there. If we were no threat another shop clear across the USA would not spend a second worring about us. They spend hours and hours slamming us on the internet, while we are on the bench working on radios. If we were nobodies in the radio world, and nobody had our radios they'd not waste a second typing so much about us. Example is there a little shop in your town that works on radios? Chances are nobody on the net wastes a second typing BS about them. The complaints are coming not from customers but our competitors. Just read who is typing the negitive posts! Its super easy to make up any story you want to on the net. Right now I could be typing something negitive about another shop, and sound like a expert..." I just had a radio from XYZ Electronics the customer brought me. It had 6 watts of backwards RMS watts, the audio sounded terrible, I noticed the limiter was cut, the radio was out of alignment"...........you see the point we can make up stories! The funny thing about it is these other shops are so concerned with why my radios talk as well as they do claiming that the works so terrible. Again if my radios were so terrible, why are they on the other side of the usa, hearing so much about me! Lets put two and two together. My radios are being sold, and are found everywhere. They sound great, and I do my best to treat my customers right. I wont resort to lies, to make sales. These practices are exposing other guys for who they really are. Are we the best in every radio field? While we try to be, we call and ask others all the time questions we have in the radio field. No one tech has all the answers. We call other techs about questions we have as well as other techs call us. If your tech knows everything, and is the best in everything, I'd chance to say, he may not know much of anything! The simple fact is if my radio was going through their town, and asked any of those guys for a radio check, they'd say "its loud and proud" not knowing its mine. These shops are claiming "oh he does this or that to his radios.....90% of which is lies, and is false" The facts are RadioActive customers don't care what makes their radios talk as well as they do, they are just happy they have awesome loud radios! If its a hamster inside the radio, making the audio scream, well then we'd make sure you've got a way to feed it! Honestly nobody cares what makes their radios talk as well as they do. If your a tech, and you do great technical work yourself, why would you care how we do our radios? Why would another shop care what RadioActive does to his radios, if hes a nobody in the AZ desert? To be honest still, do we never screw up? Is every radio 100% perfect everytime??? No, we sold $80,000 worth of radios the first three weeks of january 2006. Do the math, if I sell so much, chances are some thing can go wrong. If you sell 10 radios a mth you may have less problems then if you sell 1000 radios per mth. For the rare time something slips through the cracks, we will warranty our work forever, providing our warranty stickers are intact on the radio. I even refund shipping to us for a radio proven to be defective caused by a overlook. Shipping back is free, and so is technical work to take care of the issue. We wanted to have a way to post a thread in response to the negitive threads on a forum that doesnt allow lies, or scams. We at RadioActive Radios will remain professional at all times, even if this is not the policy of these other shops. We hope all in this business do well. We cant win every customer, and sometimes we're not the right shop for everyone, but that being said, if or when you do choose us, we apprecaite your business. We'll be glad to set you up with a superwackpacked audio monster! We love working on radios, and are dedicated to keeping this profession, professional! See I tune for max audio, max avg watts, much different then tuning for max pep. Tuning for pep is a waste of time, and a rip off of your money. Sorry to hear those guys goofed up your radio.
